- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored for account management and business development within the employee benefits sector.
- Provide strategic direction to the sales team by setting clear targets, conducting regular performance reviews, and ensuring adaptability to changing market conditions.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 5–7 Account Sales professionals to excel in selling methodologies while fostering accountability for cross-selling performance and key account maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, merchant relations, and product development to align cross-selling strategies and deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts through effective cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance using CRM tools (such as Salesforce), managing activity pipelines, funnel progression, win rates, and data-driven decision-making processes.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships focused on swift conversions, exceptional service delivery, and consistently high client satisfaction scores.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide valuable insights that inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Review sales incentive designs with relevant stakeholders to ensure the team remains motivated towards achieving quarterly objectives.
- Actively manage attrition rates by supporting the team in retaining key clients while pursuing accelerated revenue growth.
What You Bring
To excel as the Business to Employee Account Sales Head, your background should reflect substantial experience navigating B2B sales landscapes—particularly within SaaS or digital product domains serving sizeable corporate clients. Your history of leading successful teams demonstrates your capacity for nurturing talent while maintaining focus on collective goals. You bring an empathetic approach to negotiation that prioritises long-term partnerships over short-term gains. Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret complex data sets from CRM systems efficiently—translating insights into actionable plans that benefit both clients and colleagues alike. Interpersonal sensitivity is key: your ability to communicate clearly across functions ensures everyone remains aligned towards shared objectives. - Minimum 8 years' experience in B2B sales within SaaS software or digital products targeting mid- to large-size clients; at least 4 years' proven track record as a sales leader managing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or surpass sales targets through end-to-end execution of business strategies focused on account management.
- Exceptional negotiation skills enabling you to secure new opportunities—including pricing agreements and contract terms—while expanding service coverage for clients.
- Proficiency in building mutually beneficial agreements that strengthen long-term customer relationships within complex corporate structures.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring teams to pitch effectively and convert new opportunities into tangible results.
- Experience managing sales funnels using CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) for pipeline management and performance tracking across multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical problem-solving approach combined with excellent cross-functional communication skills for effective collaboration with product and marketing teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset suited for thriving in fast-evolving work environments where agility is essential for success.
- Bachelor's degree or above required; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fluency in both oral and written English and Chinese is essential for effective communication across diverse teams.
