Product Operations Principal Engineer

This role is responsible for coordinating operational activities that enable products to be introduced and sustained successfully. The team will work closely with cross-functional groups to ensure consistency between production and test environments.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the mechanical development process, with expertise in planning and executing associated development activities. They will lead efforts of internal and external mechanical design for manufacturing review with global manufacturing teams in all new product launch activities.

Additional responsibilities include conducting operational feasibility studies for new product and new manufacturing process introduction in the factory environment, engaging management and teams to determine feasibility/potential of projects, and creating factory strategies and plans for Worldwide Operations based on product plans and roadmaps.

  • Familiarity with various engineering disciplines and development/manufacturing process knowledge.

  • Able to identify, prioritize and influence absolute requirements into product designs.

  • Advanced command skills to assist in the implementation and execution of programs and initiatives.

  • Provides leadership for ensuring that product designs and operational processes are optimized.
