Samba TV is seeking a seasoned product leader to shape the company's TV platform strategy and optimize data collection infrastructure.

This role offers a unique opportunity to strengthen key global OEM partnerships, drive business growth, and enhance the company's media and advertising intelligence capabilities.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in product management, preferably within the media, advertising, or consumer electronics industries, with a focus on hardware or platform integrations. They will be responsible for defining and owning the product strategy and roadmap for Samba's TV Platform, as well as managing and developing strategic partnerships with major companies in Asia.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and executing the TV platform strategy
  • Managing OEM relationships and integrations
  • Cultivating and evolving strategic partnerships with Smart TV OEMs
  • Increasing data depth from OEM partners
  • Supervising and mentoring product managers
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to re-architect capture mechanisms
  • Ensuring seamless integration of data into Samba's infrastructure

The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic thinking and business acumen, executive presence, and ability to balance assertive negotiation with understanding partner perspectives. They will also have excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize effectively and drive complex initiatives to completion.

This role requires fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, as well as experience working with American companies/startups. Familiarity with the TV/CTV ecosystem, OEM landscape, and TV operating systems (TVOS) is highly desirable.
