Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Firmware Technical Manager to join our Audio Cluster team within Hardware Engineering.

  • Develop and optimize firmware solutions for state-of-the-art mobile speaker products.
  • Implement audio streaming and rendering technologies, including Bluetooth, USB audio, I2S, Codec, and DSP.

The Firmware Technical Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of firmware with innovative audio technologies.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and optimizing firmware architectures and applications.
  • Participating in the product initial design phase and providing technical feasibility options.
  • Planning product development tasks, including risks and dependencies.
  • Conducting thorough testing and validation of firmware designs.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in consumer electronics, audio products, or embedded software development.
  • Proven expertise in Bluetooth technology and audio streaming technologies.
  • Excellent C programming skills and a strong understanding of electronic designs.
  • Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and device drivers.
Preferred Qualifications

Having experience with Airoha Bluetooth platform or Auracast LEA is a strong plus.
