Role Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled Installation Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and accepting newly delivered systems at customer sites, delivering high-quality installations and upgrades of our products. They will also serve as the primary customer contact for technical and service-related matters.

About the Role

The Installation Engineer will perform site surveys, pre-installation, installation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites locally and worldwide. They will understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems related to the assigned system. The engineer must successfully complete required and ongoing technical training to acquire a thorough knowledge of company equipment, including installation procedures and diagnostic techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and accept newly delivered systems at customer sites
  • Serve as primary customer contact for technical and service-related matters
  • Perform site surveys, pre-installation, installation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of semiconductor capital equipment
  • Understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems
  • Successfully complete required and ongoing technical training

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in servicing or installing semiconductor capital equipment (advantageous)
  • Knowledge and experience in Semiconductor Wafer Manufacturing, specifically steppers or Metrology Management (preferred)
  • High level of technical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Good demeanor on learning new technology and willingness to take challenges
