Job Summary:

NVIDIA is looking for a Test Floor Product and Test Engineer, focus in wafer sort field.

The candidate will perform production testing control and problem solving of silicon integrated circuit products.

Responsibilities:
  • The engineer will process material through various equipment including testers, handlers, and sorting equipment- probers.
  • Tasks will involve utilizing basic to higher level technical and problem solving skills for debugging hardware and software issues in all aspects on SPIL test floor.
  • Pre-test preparation includes monitoring of material and hardware as well as setting up the test environment per engineer requests.
  • During test execution, the engineer will ensure testing is performed and functioning as required throughout the testing process.
  • The engineer must be able to debug and resolve issues related to Automated Test Equipment (ATE), testers, probers, probe cards as well as test-related issues.
  • This role consists of a broad scope of skills including attention to details, organization, good written & verbal skills, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
  • The engineer needs to communicate effectively with local planning, engineering and management teams as well as connect with remote NVIDIA engineers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor technical degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as PTE - Test/Product Engineer.
  • 3+ years of proven experience supporting wafer sort test floor operations.
  • Good verbal/written communication skills in English.
  • Computer literacy and basic data analysis skills.
  • Flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations. High problem-solving ability.
  • Self-starter capable of leading own activates as well as supporting team activities. Ability to work on off-shift with minimum supervision.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge in SW programming (C++, Perl, Linux, Python…)
  • Advantage for Knowledge in data analysis (JMP)
  • Understanding of electronic circuits.
  • Proven understanding of Automated Test Equipment (IC testers, probers, handlers, system Level test and reliability equipment).
  • Proven experience in test wafer sort (Wafer probers and probe cards)
