TV Audio Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional audio professional to join our team in developing innovative audio products for TVs. As a key member of our audio team, you will be responsible for designing and supporting audio-related products, enhancing Roku TVs with new audio capabilities, and creating scalable solutions across multiple platforms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement audio strategies that meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that our TVs deliver exceptional sound quality that exceeds customer expectations.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, from overseeing acoustic hardware integration and testing during new product development to collaborating with internal and external partners on various initiatives.

• Overseeing acoustic hardware integration and testing during new product development.
• Maximizing yield of manufacturing
• Collaborating with internal and external partners on various projects.
• Developing test and measurement hardware setups.
• Testing and benchmarking both new and existing products.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Over 7 years of experience in product development.
• Proficiency in conducting acoustic measurements.
• Experience in prototyping and mechanical integration.
• Experience with electro acoustic transducers
• Experience in acoustic modelling of loudspeakers (lumped models).
• Extensive experience in performing acoustic measurements.
• Experience with MATLAB.
• Familiarity with automation.
• Familiarity with developing tools such as Python or C++.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Master's degree in Acoustics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
