We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Firmware Development Specialist.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and optimizing firmware solutions for audio products. They will work closely with the product design team to ensure seamless integration of firmware with innovative audio technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing firmware architectures and applications to deliver superior audio quality and reliable connectivity. They will also conduct thorough testing and validation of firmware designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

  • Implement and optimize firmware architectures and applications to deliver superior audio quality and reliable connectivity.

  • Participate in product initial design phase, study technical feasibility, and provide design options to the product and design teams.

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of firmware designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

  • Ensure production starts according to plan committed at G1 by managing embedded software development cycles and supporting hardware project milestones.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and standards in Bluetooth or USB audio, firmware engineering, and the headset industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer electronics, audio products, or embedded software development.

  • Proven expertise in Bluetooth technology, including developing and implementing profiles such as HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, and LE Audio-related services.

  • Experience implementing audio streaming and rendering technologies, including Bluetooth, USB audio, I2S, Codec, and DSP, preferably within consumer electronics applications.

  • Excellent C programming skills and a strong understanding of electronic designs.

  • Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and device drivers.

  • Experience with battery management and power optimization in portable devices.

  • Experience using BT sniffers, USB protocol analyzers, and logic analyzers.

  • Strong experience with Git and Jira.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated technical leadership and excellent teamwork capabilities.
