Aircraft Materials Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the safe handling and processing of aircraft materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Warehouse Operations: Perform daily tasks such as shipping, receiving, binning, issuing, housekeeping, and security of technical spares. Inspect incoming packaging and parts for damage, verify quantity and part number accuracy, and update inventory systems.
• Receiving Inspection: Conduct Level 1 and Level 2 receiving inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards, company policies, and FARs. Submit scan certifications to AirVault.
• Part Management: Coordinate with EGAT BM on part returns and disposals. Ensure proper credit back upon check completion.
• Inventory Management: Assist Material Planning - Repair Department with unserviceable parts review and disposition. Make recommendations on scrap/repair decisions and ensure condemned parts are handled according to company policy.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Communicate with Maintenance and HDQ Materials to identify potential disruptions related to parts or tooling for AOG, DMI, MELs, and scheduled maintenance. Ensure timely delivery of parts to meet aircraft departure schedules.
• Vendor Management: Execute vendor vs company supply material decisions daily. Review vendor supplied materials and ensure consumption aligns with work packages. Verify vendor supply material costs for accuracy.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform monthly and weekly tasks assigned, such as calibration tooling S/L & material shelf-life review, cycle count/inventory counts in TPE and within the Asia Station if requested to travel and assist.

• Degree Holder: Degree holder or equivalent work experience.
• Aircraft Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the aviation industry.
• Skill Set: 2 years' experience in supervision or work technical leadership, experience in requisitioning, receiving, storing, moving, issuing, and shipping aircraft materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Skills: Previous experience with identifying and shipping hazardous materials, strong commitment to work and responsiveness to emails and calls, fast learner with excellent workplace organization, communication skills, ability to lead and ensure all duties and tasks are completed.
• Computer Skills: Must be computer literate working with Microsoft Office and comparable software, proficiency in English language (written/verbal) required.
• Availability: Ability to be resourceful and adapt to shift priorities, must be able to pass in-country background check and obtain airport security badge as required, willing to work shifts in a 24/7 environment (days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed) and subject to call back, standby, and extended hours, available to travel to assist with Asia region area coverage of A-check / C-Check / Letter service checks for a period as requested.
