Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site to support our teams who build great products and drive business growth. Reporting to the Engineering Project Management Team Manager, this PM Opening role involves responsibilities to lead project team members from start to finish to meet customer requirements.


Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

  • Oversee all project design activities, including feasibility studies, from start until stable production, within project baselines.
  • Define the scope, budget and schedule baselines for design activities, based on approved product requirements documents and statements of work.
  • Communicate customer requirements, scope, schedule and budget constraints to cross-functional design teams.
  • Work with key internal stakeholders to coordinate activities, teams and resolve issues to uphold project scope, budget and schedule.
  • Track and manage project design expenses against project budget.
  • Communicate project design status, including financial status, to the customer and project management team on a regular basis and resolve issues as needed.
  • Manage change control for design changes, communicating the impact to the customer and management team, developing new project baselines for approved changes and communicating new baselines to design teams.
  • Support key stakeholders in technical discussions with the customer.
  • Guide projects in accordance with Flex Product Life Cycle processes.
  • Participate in management gate reviews to represent design status and risk assessment for projects.

Here is some of what you'll need:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials, sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing and/or program administration or related experience.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates advanced skills in functional/technical area.
