Job Overview

We are seeking an expert in manufacturing operations to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating product designs and creating the processes, tools, and procedures behind our powerful search technology.

Our manufacturing operations team is responsible for providing the capability to deliver state-of-the-art physical infrastructure. We collaborate with commodity managers and design engineers to determine our infrastructure needs and product specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFx) efforts across teams to ensure server/storage designs, process, test, and quality standards are optimized for production.
  • Work with Product Quality Engineer to establish product quality and reliability goals. Validate product qualification plans, support product qualification testing, and review product qualification test results to ensure product performance meets requirements.
  • Coordinate release of New Product Introduction (NPI) Bill of Materials (BOMs) into Product Data Management (PDM) system. Perform technical review of product changes and assess impact on supply chain.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in electrical devices, fabrication processes, Test, DFx, Quality, or reliability engineering.
  • Experience working with Original Device Manufacturers (ODMs), Contract Manufacturers (CM) and suppliers to lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10 years of experience working at a company developing supply chains, manufacturing, and test for new server and storage type products for the IT industry.
  • Experience in data analytics and quality data systems.
  • Experience in creating and executing a Design Validation Test Plan on a complex electronic assembly.
