Accountant Role

ASM is looking for a seasoned Accountant to join their dynamic team.

  • As an Accountant, you will assist the AP team in reviewing vendor invoices and signed delivery notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • You will review and check employee claims to guarantee policy adherence.
  • Additionally, you will review eGUI sales invoices and upload them to the tax bureau platform on time, maintaining a seamless workflow.
  • Collaborate with the eGUI consultant to resolve any issues related to uploading eGUI invoices.
  • Monitor compliance with VAT law and legal invoice requirements, such as Tax ID, VAT amount, etc.
  • Prepare bi-monthly VAT filings and stamp filings as required.
  • Submit withholding tax filings as needed.
  • Prepare local tax payment splits for VAT, Stamp tax, and Withholding tax.
  • Make import duty payments via the portal and prepare accounting files for AP posting.
  • Ensure month-end close processes are performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Review schedules prepared by FSS.
  • Be responsible for financial and tax audits.
  • Prepare supporting materials before audits and interact with external auditors during the audit period.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting-related roles, preferably in MNC Shared Service environments.
  • Experience in SAP environments is highly desirable.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Matured with a 'can-do' attitude, high integrity, and proactive mindset.
  • Independent, self-driven, with strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS and R.O.C GAAP.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Good command of English language.
Education
  • BS in Accounting or a related field.
  • Desirable 3 years of work-related experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech manufacturing environments.
