Chief Procurement Officer

The Role of a Global Sourcing Manager:

You will be responsible for executing procurement processes, including category management, sourcing strategy, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance/relationship management.

This role requires the ability to move fast, speak up, decide, own, drive change, exceed customer needs, and collaborate effectively with internal customers and external partners/suppliers.

• Be responsible for sourcing & procurement for EE components
• Be responsible for supplier management, price negotiation and cost reduction
• Be responsible for new supplier selection
• Be responsible for the negotiation with suppliers on contract/agreements and business terms
• Need to provide supplier roadmap and market trend analysis to internal customers on regular basis
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and external partners/suppliers
• Interact with key business leaders and managers/buyers to proactively identify potential sourcing opportunities
• Drive saving initiatives for the responsible category
• Work on long term component capacity planning and identifying sourcing bottlenecks

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business and/or Engineering
• Excellent English reading, speaking, and writing skills
• At least 5-8 years sourcing experience or equivalent - EE components
• Good capabilities to understand technology, key market players, market drivers, and cost structure
• Good communication
• Strong interpersonal skill
• Strong analytical and negotiation skill
• Ability to work globally (3 regions: US, EMEA, and AP)
