Senior Principal Product Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Product Development Manager to lead our Product Development Management team in Taipei, Taiwan. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing high-complexity products throughout their entire lifecycle, from definition and planning to production and release.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-complexity products through entire lifecycle, ensuring dependency and deliverable tracking across products/solutions/functions
  • Drive Solution Readiness and release readiness, ensuring a plan is in place for key corporate initiatives
  • Define the program risk management plan and drive mitigation and resolutions
  • Proliferate best practices from releases across Portfolio and BU's, driving consistent and accurate cross-functional program metrics
  • Design standard program management practices, collaborating with and mentoring other members of the product management org

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge and application of engineering concepts
  • Understanding of business environment and solid understanding of the competition
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a workgroup, with ability to work in a team environment
  • Cross-functional skill, communication skills, mentoring/coaching skills, negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to influence others to achieve results, presentation skills, financial and analytical experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
  • Has PC development experience is preferred
