Procurement Role

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Specialist. As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a vital role in sourcing goods and services to support the delivery of our wind energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to promote local content across Offshore projects in APAC.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses in key renewable energy zones.
  3. Collaborate with clients to align their local content approaches with our goals.
  4. Evaluate subcontractors to ensure they meet local content requirements.
  5. Support teams in integrating local content requirements into Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and contracts.

Requirements

  • A well-developed knowledge of Offshore renewables supply chains.
  • A qualification or relevant industry experience in engineering, business, law, or finance.
  • Solid business insight and a passion for the energy industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP/Ariba is beneficial but not essential.
