Familiarity with global sourcing, product trends, and supplier evaluation processes is essential.
Strong negotiation skills and fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English are required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market research to identify trending and in-demand products.
- Source new suppliers overseas, ensuring product quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure best possible terms.
- Curate product assortments that meet customer preferences and trends.
- Evaluate performance of purchased products and adjust buying strategies accordingly.
- 5+ years of experience in buying or procurement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure advantageous terms from suppliers.
- Knowledge of global sourcing, product trends, and supplier evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with import regulations and customs processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
