Research Analyst

We are seeking a diligent Research Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Data Collection Sustainable Investments unit, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, including annual reports, sustainability reports, and other publicly traded companies' filings.

Your primary objective will be to gather quantitative and qualitative data, which will then be analyzed using our pre-defined ratings methodology/mentorship manual. You will also provide supporting comments and rationale, as well as references to source documents used in your analysis.

To excel in this role, you will need to develop strong subject matter expertise on various aspects of our data collection methodology. Additionally, you will be expected to initiate and implement projects that aim to optimize workflow and improve data quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather quantitative and qualitative data from multiple information sources.
  • Analyze collected data using our pre-defined ratings methodology/mentorship manual.
  • Support analysis with brief comments and rationale.
  • Provide appropriate references of source documents used.
  • Develop strong subject matter expertise on various sub-parts of our data collection methodology.
  • Initiate and implement projects to optimize workflow and improve data quality.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Able to work independently with high degree of ownership.
  • Able to meet strict weekly timeliness and quality standards.
  • Able to multi-task and be results-driven.
  • Experience in sustainability is helpful.
