Project Lead and IT Manager

">
  • Proactively understand business needs by gaining deep knowledge of assigned business units.
  • Lead user requirement analysis and documentation of business process requirements to meet Carl Zeiss BU needs.
  • Recommend, lead, and coordinate new functions or applications to meet Zeiss business requirements.
  • Prepare required IT demands to post to APAC Demand Management for application implementation within the Zeiss team.
  • Lead relevant projects after demand approval, including standard applications, in-house developed, or outsourced applications.
  • Build close cooperation with stakeholders within business units, regional IT, corporate IT, and corporate business unit IT.
  • Closely manage each project to meet defined deadlines and milestones concerning all relevant tasks, including project planning, budget control, realization, testing, training coordination, communication, risk management…
  • Work closely together with the APAC Regional Governance Head and other PMO colleagues for driving standardization of Project Execution and Project methodologies.

Qualifications

">
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools; professional certifications (PMP or ITIL) are preferred.
  • Experience in managing IT projects in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Wide range of IT process knowledge, including order-2-cash, procure-2-pay, finance flow, and IT solution knowledge, such as ERP, CRM, SharePoint applications, Power Platform, BI Tools…etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience and at least 3 years of project manager experience.
  • Languages: English (business fluent in conversations).

Nice to Have Experience

  • SAP ERP (SAP is a plus), CRM (Salesforce is a plus), Microsoft Power Platform.
