Job Description Summary
Responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the designated area of responsibility of Alfa Laval Products and Services in accordance with the assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets.
Responsible for leading, developing and securing a high performing sales team in line with the Alfa Laval culture. Need to be a People Manager
- Define the business strategy and plan for assigned area of responsibility according to Division Strategy, plan and targets
- Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to get the customer Loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars.
- Forecasts Sales and budget and monitor progress against objectives and financial targets to identify problem areas to improve the performance.
- Work proactive and structured with the sales and business development in order to optimize the sales efficiency of the team
- Lead the sales team giving the direction and ensuring that they are performing according with the plan and the sales process, with the special focus on lead to opportunity and opportunity to quote sub-process.
- Develop, motivate and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant sales and product/application competencies.
Main purpose of the role
- Maintain a positive attitude while leading a team of 3 in an efficient and productive manner.
- Anticipate energy sales associate needs using proper leadership techniques and proven problem-solving methods.
- Monitor top tier customer problems to ensure a high level of response time and proper problem resolutions.
- Deliver and secure profitable growth for a Business Division within a Sales Company in line with the Sales Company targets and objectives by utilizing the available human and capital resources in the most efficient way.
- Formulate and execute the divisional business strategy in line with Alfa Laval group and local Sales Company strategies.
- Lead, develop and secure a high performing divisional team in line with the Alfa Laval culture.
Competencies/ Profile
Fluent in English – Reading; Writing & Oral Be a result driven leader Be able to work under pressure Be open and communicative Have a strategic perspective Be positive on change
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree of Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience. Mechanical automation related background is also a plus, however, petrochemical related experience is needed.
- 8 years of experience of Management role with sales experience in refinerary & petrochemical industry
