Position Summary

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on
Regional HR Manager
to oversee and support HR functions across
Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore
. This position will work closely with both business leaders and in-country HR teams to execute people strategies, ensure legal compliance, and cultivate a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture throughout the region. Though based primarily in
Taiwan
, this role offers significant
regional exposure
and the chance to drive
cross-border HR initiatives

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals across Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to introduce HR initiatives that support organizational growth and transformation.
  • Lead efforts in workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational development to ensure readiness for future challenges.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and employment regulations in all three markets.
  • Handle employee relations issues—including investigations and disciplinary processes—with cultural awareness and professional rigor.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel and external consultants to address complex employment matters and reduce legal risks.

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes in coordination with local and regional talent teams.
  • Lead onboarding, training, and talent development initiatives tailored to each market's needs.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development efforts to strengthen the regional talent pool.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll

  • Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with company standards.
  • Oversee payroll processes and statutory benefits in collaboration with third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate annual salary and incentive reviews in line with corporate policies.

Performance & Rewards

  • Implement and manage performance frameworks that drive accountability and ongoing improvement.
  • Align reward mechanisms with performance results to reinforce desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles and reward distribution processes.

HR Operations & Special Projects

  • Enhance and standardize HR processes and documentation to drive operational efficiency across the region.
  • Lead or contribute to regional initiatives such as policy alignment, employee engagement, and DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) programs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reports to support compliance and informed leadership decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years' progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a generalist or business partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of Taiwan's labor laws and HR landscape; experience with Japan and/or Singapore HR practices is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cultures and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in
    Mandarin and English
    is required;
    Japanese proficiency
    is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in a multinational or fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Regional experience is a plus, though not mandatory—we welcome candidates with solid local experience and a strong interest in expanding to a regional role.
