We have full in-house engineering and manufacturing. Our engineering capabilities span test planning, equipment selection, custom instrumentation design, PCB design, embedded software development, application software and driver software development, mechanical design, system integration, trouble shooting and deploying in customers production line. With this spectrum of engineering capabilities, we offer semiconductor testing, PCB functional testing and product testing solutions. Our manufacturing capabilities include PCB fabrication and assembly, sheet metal, CNC fabrication, bed of nail fixture manufacturing, test fixture and test interface manufacturing, custom test interface box fabrication and assembly.

Role:

We are seeking a highly driven and technically strong business development director to lead our Taiwan operations. Primary responsibilities will include customer engagement, and business growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with career progression through technical roles such as Field Applications Engineer in test, measurement and automation, serving customers across Taiwan, China, and the broader Asia-Pacific market.

This leadership role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and people management skills to support customers, grow market presence, and build high-performing local teams.

Responsibilities

Customer & Market Engagement

o   Serve as the primary point of contact for factories, customers, and strategic partners in Taiwan and China.

o   Apply sound engineering knowledge to engage in pre-sales with customers on robotics, automation, and semiconductor-related solutions.

o   Support business development initiatives and drive regional growth.

Talent Development & Hiring

o   Attract, hire, and mentor strong local engineering talent with exceptional technical and communication skills.

o   Build and manage a team of highly motivated technicians willing to travel across Taiwan, China, Vietnam for customer and factory support.

Technology Transfer & Collaboration

o   Facilitate and manage technology transfer between Anora US, Germany and India engineers and local Taiwan teams.

o   Ensure seamless knowledge sharing, collaboration, and alignment across geographies.

Vendor Management & Sourcing

o   Act as the intermediary for China- and Taiwan-based vendors.

o   Identify, qualify, and manage new and mature vendors to enhance Anora's supply chain.

o   Oversee vendor qualification, material and equipment sourcing, and incoming quality control (IQC) as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
  , Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in electronic test, measurement or robotics, automation, or semiconductor-related industries.
• Hands-on experience as a 
  Field Applications Engineer
   in the Asia-Pacific region (Taiwan, China, etc.).
• Strong engineering foundation with the ability to converse fluently with technical teams and customers.
• Proven leadership skills in building, mentoring, and managing high-performing engineering and technical teams.
• Experience in vendor relations, sourcing, and supply chain management across Taiwan and China.
• Proactive and ALWAYS self-driven
• Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel within Taiwan, China, and other Asia-Pacific markets as required.
