What You'll Do
- As the Business Development Director / Manager, you will play a strategic leadership role in driving business growth and building global partnerships.
- Market Strategy – Develop and execute BD strategies for Asia-Pacific and global markets, setting short-, mid-, and long-term goals
- Client Acquisition – Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with top pharmaceutical companies, biotech startups, and medical institutions
- Strategic Partnerships – Build and manage collaborations with global partners, fostering cross-border and cross-discipline opportunities
- Deal Negotiation – Lead high-value project negotiations, finalize agreements, and make critical business decisions
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Team Leadership – Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing BD team, driving professional growth and achieving ambitious targets
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree or above in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience in Business Development, International Sales, or Strategic Partnerships
- Solid understanding of CRO / CMO / CDMO / CRDMO / Biotech business models, drug development, clinical trials, and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in closing large-scale deals and working with global clients
- Fluent English — strong written and verbal communication skills to engage international stakeholders
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous senior BD or commercial leadership experience in pharma, biotech, CRO / CMO / CDMO / CRDMO / Biotech companies
- Strong network and understanding of the Asia, US, or EU pharmaceutical markets
- Established relationships within the biotech, pharma, or medtech ecosystem
