Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Image Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in camera image signal processing and a strong background in algorithm development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tune image quality for camera ISP, including algorithm optimization for temporal noise reduction, sharpness, tone mapping, and contrast.
  • Perform end-to-end IQ verification and studies to enable faster response to customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to deliver well-substantiated evaluation reports and decisive conclusions.
  • Conduct lab and field testing to evaluate image quality, behavior, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or related work.
  • Mastery of 3A algorithms (Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, Auto Focus) and proficiency in C++, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Experience with Snapdragon ISP is a plus, as is familiarity with both objective and subjective image quality assessment methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in image processing algorithms, image sensor characteristics, and optical system design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good communication and understanding to translate customer requests into technical solutions.
