About the Role
Advantech is seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to join our iHealthcare team. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven professional who can develop market strategies, build partnerships, and drive sustainable growth across the healthcare technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute short- and long-term business development strategies with region sector.
• Identify target markets, customer segments, and solution portfolios to strengthen Advantech's positioning in the healthcare domain.
• Plan and implement performance-driven channel sales and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional business units (RBUs) and sales teams to support their business success and solution delivery.
• Utilize technical and application knowledge to define and propose optimal solutions for customers.
• Lead go-to-market initiatives to effectively communicate offerings and value propositions to customers and partners.
• Apply consultative sales skills to achieve project design-in and specification goals.
• Conduct market outreach, including cold calling, to develop new customer relationships and drive long-term business growth.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; background in Application Engineering is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or market expansion.
• Solid understanding of IT systems, medical technology, or healthcare applications preferred.
• Strong business acumen with proven ability in negotiation, solution selling, and project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain long-term client partnerships.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and able to work effectively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
