Overview

This foreign corporate bank (in Hong Kong) has a wide spectrum of banking services and products to its customers with the goal of becoming the bank of choice for Taiwan Corporate customers in Asia. They are now seeking to hire a
Vice President, Taiwan Large Corporates
for the Corporate Banking department in to drive the growth of the Taiwan clients portfolio through acquisition of new-to-bank customers and developing deep-level and meaningful relationships in Hong Kong

Role Responsibilities

  • Working in the International Corporates team, solicit and develop Loans/Deposits banking business activities with Taiwan Large Corporate Banking customers and achieve assigned targets
  • Develop and maintain client relationship with existing and prospective Taiwanese clients by providing professional financial solutions
  • Support cross-selling opportunities within different teams in Corporate Banking,
  • Recommend professional banking advise and solutions including promoting various products including syndicated loans, bilateral facilities and structure finance, etc
  • Handle customer inquiries in an efficient and accurate manner
  • Familiar with credit analysis and credit proposals

Requirements

  • 7+ years relationship management experience in a reputable corporate banking covering
    Taiwan Multinational Corporates (MNC)
  • Seeking for Taiwanese RMs open to relocating to Hong Kong to pursue their banking career
  • Product knowledge in various banking products including bi-lateral and syndicated loans and structured finance;
  • Strong Academics from a reputable University
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin
