What you will do

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of defining and executing a strategic payments road map tailored to the Taiwanese market, ensuring that our innovative e-commerce solutions resonate with local consumers while maintaining the essence of Coupang's groundbreaking services.

• Craft our path to becoming Taiwan's top e-commerce platform by focusing on strategic payments business development that places customer experience at the forefront, ensuring excellence without compromise. We aim to set the new industry benchmark in Taiwan.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor Coupang's iconic Rocket Delivery service and other e-commerce offerings to meet the unique needs and preferences of the Taiwanese market, ensuring a tailored shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of payments experience or equivalent, with industry knowledge and preferably local contacts.
• Understanding of payment gateway infrastructure, payment/data flow, overseas payment, and credit card processing
• Excellent communication skills, capable of communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders while simplifying complex ideas succinctly and persuasively.
• Good UX concept, able to accurately capture what Taiwanese customers desire in payment services.
• Ability to combine strategic foresight with a strong execution focus to drive results.
• Strong analytical skills and experience extracting data from public information to drive decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• A proactive approach, with a willingness to delve into details and drive results.
