Job Summary
Lead the delivery of services/projects, with a focus on strategic and operational planning, governance and evaluation of service delivery performance to support the achievement of objectives.

Responsibilities
Strategy

  • To develop a work-plan of long- and short-term goals and objectives that support the WRB COO and Head of SnT's mission, and budget.
  • To work with Group SnT leadership team to develop initiatives for productivity, efficiency, and transformation targets.

Business

  • Drive and oversee the allocation of financial, human, resources facilitate operationally effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement initiatives with priorities and strategies to ensure the business

needs are met.

  • Work with business/operation leadership team to manage/provide cross-functional, cross-process outcomes.
  • Manage Outsourcing services providers for their service excellence.

Processes

  • Oversee and govern processes effectiveness within SnT teams.
  • Monitor, evaluate and regularly report on delivery status and outcomes against key performance indicators to ensure service delivery is efficient, cost effective and compliant with standards.
  • Monitor performance standards and service outcomes to ensure the high quality and effectiveness of activities and on time delivery as per Outsourcing service agreements

People & Talent

  • To inspire and motivate, lead, guide, support, provide direction and manage performance and development.
  • To ensure resources are well allocated across teams within SnT.
  • Identifies & nurtures talent by growing bench strength and ensuring adequate succession planning.

Risk Management

  • To work with stakeholders on daily basis to ensure controls are followed and performed, both internal and external policies/regulation are followed and if any gap identified then mitigation plan would be in place.
  • To work as the escalation point of risk event for BAU processing teams and report to the management team for further escalation and handling.
  • To work as point of contact of Audit event for SnT team.

Governance

  • To coordinate and participate in monitoring, review and auditing processes.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
