Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify and target potential customers in the logistics sector through market research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Hunt and win new opportunities with a focus on small and medium-sized customers (short-term wins) and sizeable customers (long-term wins).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, including but not limited to vendors/suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
  • Understand customers' needs and develop customized solutions to meet their transportation and logistics requirements.
  • Drive the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Prepare ad hoc quotes and RFQs, offering best-fit solutions with support from operations after understanding customers' needs/requirements.
  • Input and timely update sales activities utilizing the CRM system. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, major in logistics, transportation, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, with a minimum of two years of experience in sales, preferably in the logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and transportation services.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, aggressive, and open-minded with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Good PC skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
