- SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing end-to-end supply chain operations for Taiwan Retail BU, including but not limited to inventory management, logistics, import/export, transportation & warehousing functions.
- Close collaboration with all the internal and external stakeholders to provide timely supply chain support for service & order fulfillments.
- Proving the supply chain reporting & KPI tracking for the performance visibility of the entire supply chain functions.
- PRIMARY DUTIES
Order Fulfillment
- Communicate & support Sales Team or Sales Coordinators on the special order and delivery requirements.
- Ensure that shipment and delivery documentation aligned with the customer's requirements and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain cordial working relationship with both Internal and External Customers. Warehouse & Logistics
- Work closely with freight forwarders in the arrangement of incoming deliveries, booking and collection schedules.
- Partner with logistics sourcing team to drive freight RFQ exercise to achieve optimum freight rate & spend.
- Work with service providers to provide accurate traceability and up-to-date status for all the in-transit shipments/deliveries.
- Actively enforce all policies in place by the global transportation and logistics team.
- Measure transportation KPI Goals, conduct monthly/quarterly review and manage the countermeasure process or corrective actions.
- Ensure Goods Receiving, WIP status and Outbound transactions in ERP system are performed on a real time basis, in accordance with the physical transaction performed.
- Maintain high inventory integrity and accuracy level of more than 99.9% in the entire supply chain pipeline, at all times.
- Organize and lead the quarterly & annual stock count exercises for the entity.
- Perform investigation if any complaints raised – quality & quantity aspects for both Inbound, Outbound & Transportation.
- Produce regular stock reports, positions, and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensure the timely closure of RMA (Return Material Authorization), with proper quarantine of the physical parts.
- Manage shipment discrepancy, missing or damaged cargo with freight forwarders. 1 Confidential
- File, follow up and close the claim / compensation with the service provider or insurance company.
- Manage & track KPI of service providers to optimize the logistics operation and performance.
- Ensure all the logistics & transportation charges are billed in accordance with the rates/ tariffs agreed before approving the payment.
- Provide timely visibility to all freight spend by mode and service level.
- Assist and guide the various stakeholders with any logistics/ transportation issues and any consolidation efforts in the supply chain. Trade Compliance
- Manage customs operations including the compliance assurance for import, export, HTS Code and duty/tax requirements
- Act in the capacity of the business' primary representative to trade regulators affecting imports and exports processes. The involved agencies typically include, but is not limited to, customs authorities, Entry & Exit Commodity Inspection & Quarantine Authorities, commerce authorities and tax authorities.
- Knowledgeable in applicable customs laws and regulations; vigilant on the dynamic changes of the trade environment and regulations in order to ensure that the business remains in compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to collaborate with the Customs Broker to diagnose complex customs-related issues, determine root cause analysis and to prescribe solutions and corrective actions.
- Manage customs brokers effectively and tactically, making sure that the company appointed service providers are in full compliance with the regulations and the company's requirements.
- Proactively identify risk areas and take measures to prevent potential non-compliance with trade regulations by the business. General
- Responsible for operational improvements and productivity efficiency improvements by applying continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ensure the practice of world class EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards/ 5S programs in all the supply chain operations, to align to company Zero Harm objective.
- Ensure all the Trade Compliance, shipping/delivery, operational and regulatory documentation requirements are met; properly filed and archived, either in physical or electronic form, for easy retrieval.
- Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by the supervisor.
- EDUCATION
- Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent, with at least 3-5 years of experience in related roles & job scopes.
- TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with Supply Chain best practices.
- Hands-on experience in ERP such as Baan, Oracle, JDE or SAP is a must
