It is an ever-developing task in a progressive environment.This role will provide supply chain leadership and deliver operational standards to SC offshore operations across APAC region reporting to the Head of Service Supply Chain Operations - APAC. You will guide a team of around 1-2 direct reports supervising planning & operations for offshore in the APAC region. The role will be responsible for supply chain planning, inventory and logistics operations to deliver value to our customers.ResponsibilitiesOwn and deliver on supply chain KPI's (SQDIC) including the contribution to the cost bridge expectations in the businessSupervise a team supply chain professional and warehouse personnel to implement an E2E Supply chain planning & operations across the region (Front desk, Sourcing, Inventory & Procurement, Forecasting & Planning, Warehouse and Transport)Promote and support the SIOP initiatives to improve the overall planning performance in the regionTest the status quo on the supply chain operations model and engage in original thinking, which will guide quality, enhance business growth, reduce cost, and bring value for Vestas customersEngage employees to adopt a 'Vestas safety first culture' in all that we implement in the supply chain operationsTeam management and development - Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports based on Vestas Leadership ModelEstablish a management operating system (Daily/Weekly Connect) that ensures seamless communication flow and monitoring of the relevant KPI's for the teamLiaise with service directors, site managers & planners, sales, onshore and offshore construction project teams, IT, external consultants, and other business stake holders to understand business requirements and coordinating changeEngage with procurement and supply chain providers to deliver on the transportation & distribution network optimization plans for APAC OFSQualifications8-12 years of overall supply chain experience in a similar industryMore than 4 years' experience in supervising teams and organizing senior stakeholders across countries in a multi-cultural environmentExposure of working with 3PL warehouse & external transport providersPrior experience coordinating projects and change management initiativesPost-Graduate in Operations/Supply ChainSolid understanding and experience of supply chain concepts, change management, team management is essential to the effectiveness of this roleConstant exploration of best practices in supply chain technology landscapeCompetenciesEffective communication skills across all levels of the businessProfessional stakeholder and change management skillsProficient problem-solving orientation and analytical skill in the business.
