**Job Title: Air Freight Operations Manager**Air Freight Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth and successful onboarding process of clients in the air freight industry. This involves managing a scalable Control Tower to ensure robust and reliable operations.The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large accounts, especially in the semiconductor or technology industry, and be fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing scope of work with account owners and clients, participating in strategic customer discussions, and ensuring smooth client onboarding processes.
  • Working closely with stations to ensure SOP compliance, root cause analysis, and complaint management whenever KPIs are not met.
  • Providing regular communications and timely status reports, addressing potential red flags to mitigate operation issues or unexpected shipping delays.
  • Data analytical ability to assist account owners in preparing reports, analysis, and QBR/MBR reports.
  • Supporting quotations with account managers for new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and 8+ years of experience in freight forwarding.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
  • Experience in managing large accounts, especially in the semiconductor or technology industry is preferred.
  • Deep experience and expertise in forwarding/carrier operating systems experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • With proven track record in leadership experience, delivering successful customer on-boarding implementation projects.
