Operations Planning Director Role

Coupang is seeking a highly skilled Operations Planning Director to lead the expansion in Taiwan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to reduce input variability, monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to drive initiatives that improve cost efficiency and productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Oversee the implementation and scaling of new or modified processes to meet design entitlements, ensuring timely and effective utilization of resources.
  • RCA Capabilities: Build and enhance RCA capabilities within the operations team, leading continuous improvement efforts to optimize process performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operations planning or a related role, with a proven track record of achieving operational and financial goals. A bachelor's degree in operations management, Business Administration, or a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
