Lead Chemical Compliance SpecialistThis role ensures suppliers provide accurate product information and maintains compliance with chemical regulations. The Chemical Compliance Specialist will further develop Fairphone's leadership on chemicals management.The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in chemical and product compliance, a background in Chemical Engineering or material science, and excellent communication skills.Key responsibilities include:• Manage product & supplier data including Full Material Declarations, Bill of Materials, and chemical usage.• Lead and plan the data collection schedule and ensure timely submission of data from suppliers.• Verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted data and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency.• Monitor ongoing compliance to substances restriction legislation and oversee testing against Fairphone's Restricted Substances List (RSL).• Participate in industry initiatives related to chemical management and collect and review information on process chemicals.• Own the Fairphone RSL, reviewing and updating it regularly to incorporate upcoming developments in REACH and ROHS.• Support reporting data and evidence to governmental agencies, customers, and other stakeholders.BenefitsThis role offers a diverse work environment, paid holidays, and social security arrangements according to Taiwanese/Chinese labor law.
