About the Role

The hiring company is a fast-growing technology company expanding its operations in Asia. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the operations function in Taiwan. In this role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR activities to support the growing team in Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and processes to support the company's growth and success in Taiwan
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle in Taiwan, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in Taiwan

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Taiwan leadership team, providing HR insights and recommendations to drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate with department heads in Taiwan to understand their talent needs and implement effective HR solutions
  • Analyze HR data and metrics in Taiwan to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions

Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work culture that reflects the company's core values in the Taiwan office
  • Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and job satisfaction in Taiwan
  • Develop and oversee employee relations strategies to address workplace issues and conflicts in Taiwan

Global HR Alignment

  • Work closely with the global HR team to align the company's HR practices in Taiwan with the company's broader initiatives
  • Share best practices, benchmark against industry standards, and drive continuous improvement in HR processes in Taiwan
  • Serve as a key contributor to the development and execution of Zeal's expansion plans in the Asia-Pacific region

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive HR and operations management experience in Taiwan, ideally in the Web3/technology industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels in Taiwan
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal)
  • Experience managing a diverse, international workforce in Taiwan
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align company goals with business objectives in Taiwan
