Thermal Process Engineer

The thermal process engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing thermal systems in the electronics industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, thermal management, or a related field.

Responsibilities include participating in thermal design reviews, validating thermal simulations, and collaborating with R&D teams to optimize thermal solutions. Additionally, the thermal process engineer will manage thermal component suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with company specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize thermal systems for electronics products

  • Participate in thermal design reviews and validation processes

  • Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize thermal solutions

  • Manage thermal component suppliers to ensure quality and reliability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in thermal engineering, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering in the electronics or hardware industry

  • Deep knowledge of thermal management technologies in electronics (e.g., fan systems, heat exchangers, cold plates, TIMs)

  • Familiarity with supplier quality tools and methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)

  • Hands-on experience with thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Icepak, FloTHERM)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in consumer electronics, data centers, or automotive electronics

  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
