System Software Engineer Position Overview

We are looking for an exceptional System Software Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated problems and provide innovative solutions.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead the development of new security and resiliency features at firmware and driver software stacks. They will also be responsible for debugging complex system level issues, working across software teams (both internal and partner) and infrastructure.

Collaboration with partner teams (software, hardware, and operations) on server products across different geographical locations is crucial. The goal is to design and optimize software and processes, improving the reliability, quality, and resilience of our product.

As a leader in the team, you will offer robust leadership and technical mentorship to junior and senior engineers. Defining the team's technical direction and roadmap within a group, ensuring alignment with the business unit or company plan is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A systematic approach to design, prioritizing reliability, availability, stability, and performance when solving problems.
  • Proven track record of crafting well-designed, secure solutions and delivering high-quality software on time with strong engineering skills when faced with complicated and ambiguous problems.
  • Outstanding programming skills, particularly in C/C++, encompassing proficiency in language, libraries, and toolchains.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation purposes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, along with strong collaborative and networking skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of server hardware and protocols, both in-depth and breadth.
