About the Role

As a Systems Architect for Data Centers and Cloud Platforms, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of hardware experiences. You will contribute to the development of custom silicon solutions that power Google's direct-to-consumer products, pushing boundaries and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify operational risks associated with system design to ensure seamless deployment and minimize downtime during repairs.
  • Mitigate these risks through collaboration with partners from Hardware, Software, and Tooling teams.
  • Define trade-offs between systems design and operational excellence to inform decisions at all levels, from engineers to executives.
  • Oversee the validation and execution of system design requirements, from concept to production.
  • Align stakeholders through effective communication of updates, escalations, and achievements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in System Architecture and Design for data center platforms.
  • Experience with hardware, software, and tooling.
  • Ability to drive systems development from concept to production.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience as a Systems Architect for HPC and ML systems.
  • Excellent leadership skills, including strategy definition, execution driving, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong communication and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
