Job Description

As a Cloud Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems on top of cloud infrastructure. This involves processing tremendous volumes of data, building smooth CI/CD processes, and applying DevOps practices to increase productivity and availability.

Additionally, you will design cloud architecture to make the system more resilient and think through the best ways to solve particular technical challenges. There are many tasks to do, and we believe that various engineering skills can help.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • solid knowledge of one of the programming languages (we use Java and Golang)
  • familiarity with big data streaming ETL process development and operation
  • familiarity with Web API development and operation
  • familiarity with cloud infrastructure, web application, data processing, and Kubernetes on any of AWS, Azure, GCP
  • experience with identifying, designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures, and datasets
  • experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, AWS DynamoDB and Elasticsearch
  • experience with CI/CD & DevOps practice
  • experience with at least one of IaC, such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
