Area Sales Manager

Supervise: 3 staffs

Job Responsibilities
1. Creates, plans and implements sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with company sales strategy. Achieves sales targets with respect to both budgets and sales efficiency.
2. Establishes sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
3. Identifies opportunities for existing and potential new customers within a defined geographical area, determines plans for acquisition, and allocates resources.
4. Supports the development of strong relationships with key customers. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers. Ensures efficient marketing communications.
5. Ensures achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate prices and margins for sales. Participates in negotiations of key contracts. Manages ongoing costs.
6. Monitors client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.
7. Takes ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions, and programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor or above degree, major in mechanical and electrical engineering and automation, overseas experience is preferred
More than 8 years of relevant sales and marketing experience (especially OEM market) with excellent performance record
A good technical background (especially in motion control) is preferred
Team management experience is preferred
Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills
Excellent market analysis insight, comprehensive and profound marketing knowledge and skills
Good management leadership and communication skills
