Position Overview:
Oracle's Legal Department is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position focuses on supporting Oracle's legal operations without the complexity of negotiations. The role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in legal administrative tasks, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to precision in document handling and contract drafting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and drafting of various legal documents such as contracts and agreements.
  • Perform data entry and manage legal documentation to support the legal team.
  • Help maintain compliance with corporate policies and legal standards.
  • Engage in regular legal research and provide support on compliance and other legal matters.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth legal operations related to Oracle's hardware supply chain.
  • Manage document lifecycle from drafting to execution, ensuring accuracy and organization.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in oral English, with high competency in reading and writing.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal setting, ideally with exposure to commercial transactions or corporate law.
  • Educational background in Law, preferably with overseas education experience or experience working in an international context.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Licensed attorney in any jurisdiction.
