We are looking for a dedicated and independent Legal Counsel to join our Legal & Compliance Division and support the Ventures Group, which oversees KKCompanys innovative businesses, including public cloud resale, AI-integrated solutions, and internet-based SaaS services. This position reports directly to the Ventures Group President and plays a critical role in enhancing legal risk management, corporate governance, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, evolving business environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Governance & Business Operations Support

• Assist with routine corporate governance processes (not subject to listing regulations), including board/shareholder meeting documentation and coordination.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on company registration and regulatory filings across Taiwan and overseas (e.g., business registration, shareholder register updates, investment declarations, etc.).
• Maintain and organize legal and corporate records in coordination with internal and external teams (e.g., external agents, law firms, secretarial service providers).

2. Legal Operations & Ventures Business Enablement

• Provide legal advisory and contract support across Ventures Groups business lines, including cloud resale, AI solutions, and multimedia streaming services.
• Support the development and optimization of internal legal systems, templates, workflows, and digital tools for enhanced productivity and knowledge sharing.
• Track project execution and internal collaborations using tools such as Asana, Jira, or knowledge systems.

3. Contract Review & Legal Advisory

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including but not limited to: service agreements, licensing agreements, partner collaboration, SaaS usage terms, and cloud-related transactions.
• Advise on legal issues arising from commercial operations, marketing practices, customer disputes, and regulatory trends in the internet/software domain.
• Liaise with external counsel for dispute resolution and ensure internal awareness of legal risks and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• LL.B. or higher in Law; Taiwan bar admission preferred.
• At least 3 years of legal experience, preferably with both in-house and law firm exposure.
• Professional working proficiency in English; overseas study or legal training in English-speaking jurisdictions (e.g., U.S., U.K., Canada) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with legal issues related to software, internet technologies, cloud services, or AI-related businesses.
• Strong ethical standards and high professional integrity.
