Role Overview

We are hiring a
Cross-Border Trade Systems Analyst
to support regional and thematic research focused on global trade architecture, economic corridor development, and digital logistics. The role involves producing technical and policy-driven analysis for clients working in trade facilitation, port strategy, and infrastructure reform.

This position is ideal for candidates with exposure to public-sector consulting, logistics modernization, or international trade institutions, especially those who can translate data and trends into actionable insights for cross-border connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on global trade systems, corridor development, and logistics governance
  • Draft strategic notes and technical papers for multilateral clients, port authorities, and development agencies
  • Interpret infrastructure performance data and policy benchmarks to inform planning or reform initiatives
  • Collaborate on scenario planning, institutional mapping, and diagnostics related to customs modernization and digital trade
  • Support high-level roundtable materials, stakeholder engagement plans, and validation reports
  • Monitor developments in regional integration efforts, digital trade platforms, and infrastructure investment trends

Qualifications

  • Background in International Trade, Development Policy, Logistics, Infrastructure Economics, or related fields
  • 3–6 years of experience in consulting, public policy, or trade-related institutions
  • Excellent written communication, with a demonstrated ability to produce concise and impactful policy briefs
  • Familiarity with Asia-Pacific trade corridors, ASEAN initiatives, or port governance structures is an asset
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
