Role Overview

We are hiring a
Global Trade Systems Research Analyst
to contribute to international advisory work focused on port logistics performance, trade route resilience, and institutional modernization. The role involves research, diagnostics, and policy-oriented writing for government and development sector clients, with a focus on evidence-based insights and regional trade systems design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on cross-border trade flows, infrastructure gaps, and regulatory harmonization
  • Support the development of technical reports, benchmarking briefs, and policy recommendations
  • Monitor trade policy changes, regional integration initiatives, and logistics digitalization trends
  • Collaborate with internal consultants and external partners to synthesize data and generate actionable insights
  • Translate complex trade dynamics into concise documents for public sector decision-makers
  • Assist with scenario design, resilience planning, and institutional mapping across targeted trade corridors

Qualifications

  • Degree in Trade Policy, Economics, International Relations, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in policy research, infrastructure consulting, or logistics strategy
  • Strong writing and synthesis skills; ability to work independently in a consulting environment
  • Familiarity with Asia-Pacific trade frameworks, digital customs initiatives, or institutional reform programs is an asset
  • Fluency in English is required
