Position Summary:

Aids in the maintenance of budgeting systems and accounting principles related to classifying, recording, and summarizing data and making computations to compile and keep financial records.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Studies and analysis of accounting records for purposes of preparing statements and reports.
  • Maintains and verifies records of transactions; receives and disburses money; computes and verifies amounts.
  • Audits records and prepares bills.
  • Creating computations for payroll and timekeeping records, computing earnings, and preparing duty rosters and work schedules.
  • Analyzing past and present financial operations and future estimates.
  • May analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Organizational skills
  • Collaborative project management
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Excellent multi-tasker and handles pressure well

Position Qualifications:

Education:

HS degree or equivalent required

Experience:

1 year of experience in accounting

Prior accounting experience a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
