Position
The Business Development and Sales Lead will primarily be tasked to support the sustained growth of the business by ensuring early client engagement to generate leads and opportunities for Sulmara's innovative survey services in the offshore wind industry. A secondary responsibility will be to provide support in the development and execution of the Company's marketing and branding strategies in Taiwan and the wider Region.
Requirements
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Support in growing and developing Sulmara's client base in Taiwan by organising and attending client meetings and events.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to understand opportunities for Sulmara to deliver value.
- Actively pursue leads and opportunities from enrolment on bid lists, sales negotiations, through to closing.
- Assist in mapping the assigned key client organisations, identifying the key influencers, decision makers and their personal drivers as relates to survey and innovation, keeping this map relevant through any organisational changes.
- Assist to compile, develop and update win strategies for assigned key projects.
- Support the development and execution of the Company's marketing and branding strategies in Taiwan.
- Assist to develop dedicated and targeted sales campaigns for specific services and products.
- Administer and improve sales processes to promote sustainable growth in Taiwan.
- General administration required for the Taiwan APAC region.
- Uphold organization's standards of business integrity.
- Assist in organising marketing events and client demos to advertise and promote Sulmara's technology
- Coordinate Sulmara's presence at Exhibitions and Conferences as an exhibitor.
- Provide guidance, cultural and bilingual support to Sulmara's Marketing Team to allow a local focus and presence on social media channels.
Skills Requirements
- Good commercial and Renewable Energy market awareness.
- Effective conceptual and critical thinking skills supported by good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation.
- Good knowledge of and skills in Microsoft Office packages to generate various reports, presentations and data management.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), other languages such as Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia will be a plus.
- Self-motivated, results-orientated with a positive mature outlook and a clear focus on high quality performance.
Experience, Competency And Qualifications
- University degree education.
- Relevant knowledge / experience within an operations focused role.
- Experience working in the Offshore Energy Industry.
- Proficient in the use of IT applications, including MS Office Suite and industry standard crew/logistics data base systems.
- Valid local Driving License.
- Resident and/or currently based in Taiwan.
