The Role
We are looking for a WTG Procurement and Contracts Senior Manager to join the team, someone with a high degree of business acumen through a blend of commercial, technical and contractual knowledge ready to prove themselves in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. The main location for this position is Taipei, and we are open to considering other COP offices in the Asia Pacific region.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • You will be responsible for the execution of the procurement strategy on WTG.
  • Manage and drive competitive tendering activities to select the right suppliers in coordination with technical team.
  • Lead negotiation with suppliers and contract drafting with support from legal advisors, ensuring adequate risk allocation, bankability and compliance with local requirements.
  • Perform contract management activities during project construction phase, to secure safe, timely, high-quality and cost-efficient deliveries and execution.

Your Experience

  • A master's degree in (commercial) law, business administration, engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have 10 years of experience in WTG procurement or sales within offshore wind.
  • Business acumen, commercial creativity and strong negotiation skills with a sense of contractual risk drivers.
  • Perseverance and an ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and inter-personal skills enabling you to perform in different cultures and at all organizational/seniority levels.
