Key tasks

  • Take ownership of contractual management throughout the full project lifecycle, from tendering to execution and close-out.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technical contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal frameworks, and industry standards.
  • Provide contractual and legal support to Project Managers, including claim management, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate notifications of entitlements, variations, extensions of time, and claims under FIDIC/BIMCO contracts.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractor agreements, ensuring obligations are aligned with main contract requirements.
  • Maintain structured documentation and contract records, supporting reporting and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, HR, etc.) and external stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
  • Support dispute resolution processes, providing contractual analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Continuously improve internal contract management procedures, contributing to lessons learned and best practices for offshore wind projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract management within offshore wind, largescale infrastructure, or energy projects.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) and BIMCO (Baltic and International Maritime Council); exposure to NEC (New Engineering Contract) or LOGIC (Leading Oil and Gas Industry Competitiveness) contracts is a plus.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) to effectively negotiate and manage international stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills with proven ability to manage contractual risks.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Possession of a Taiwan law bar is a plus.
