WTG Engineer

We are seeking a WTG Engineer to join our team in Taiwan. As a WTG Engineer, you will be involved in offshore wind power projects during development and construction phases. In the development phase, you will support wind resources survey and wind measurements to evaluate wind energy potential for specific sites. You will also support drafting tender documents and will be involved in design and technical discussions with WTG suppliers. In the construction phase, you will participate in various WTG installation activities, such as progress monitoring and surveillance of work performed by WTG contractor.

Scope Description
As a key member of the Synera Renewable Energy team, your role will encompass the following:

• Support wind data analysis and wind resources assessment
• Support WTG layout design
• Support internal Interface Management between WTG and other packages.
• Support drafting tender documents, e.g. Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Employer's Requirements, etc.
• Provide technical input relevant to WTG and wind farm design as requested by Permit or Business Development team
• Collaborate with Civil and Electrical teams both internally and externally to optimize wind farm design
• Work with Employer's Representative and ensure WTG installation works are performed as specified in contracts Participate in project meetings and necessary trainings.
• Lead the WTG Engineering team within the project with responsibility of 2 3 Engineers working in the same project reporting to you.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 10 years experiences with WTG engineering
• Worked before in at least 1 offshore wind project from FEED to COD (handover to O&M)
• Has a deep understanding of the technology in addition to good management skills
• Good on communication skills with contractors in a difficult and challenging environment
• Your location will be Taiwan, SRE office in Taipei with travels to WTG Contractor and construction sites both during the design and execution phase of projects.
