Information Service Lead

The Information Service Leader will lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of Gogoro's information technology infrastructure and enterprise systems. This executive will enable and secure business transformation through integrated information systems management across multiple business units. They will be responsible for aligning technology investments with organizational goals, driving digital transformation initiatives, optimizing business processes, and ensuring system integration across the enterprise while maintaining compliance and security standards.

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Lead the IS Steering Committee meetings and Architecture Review Board to ensure alignment between business needs and IT capabilities

• Develop and execute the long-term IS strategy and roadmap that supports Gogoro's business objectives and digital transformation

• Establish and enforce clear development standards, governance frameworks, and IT policies

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of information systems

• Direct vendor assessment, selection, and relationship management to optimize technology partnerships

• Oversee budget planning and resource allocation across all IS functions

Enterprise Architecture & Integration

• Guide enterprise architecture planning and governance to ensure scalable, secure, and integrated systems

• Oversee systems and data integration across business functions including SAP ERP, MES, PLM, and other business-critical applications

• Lead business process automation and workflow optimization initiatives

• Supervise middleware integration and API management for seamless data exchange

• Direct technology pattern design and standards for premises and cloud architecture

Application Management & Development

• Lead the development and enhancement of ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, and other business-critical applications

• Oversee integration between application systems including BPM, DMS, Supplier Portal, and other enterprise platforms

• Direct database management and optimization activities

• Supervise data mart architecture and business intelligence solutions

• Manage application development standards, code quality, and development environment optimization

• Oversee release management and deployment processes

Infrastructure & Operations Management

• Direct service level management to ensure system performance meets business requirements

• Oversee IT asset lifecycle management and capacity planning

• Lead infrastructure operations, maintenance, and performance optimization

• Supervise help desk operations and end-user support services

• Manage system monitoring, security, and compliance processes

• Direct network performance assessment and optimization

Organizational Leadership

• Develop and mentor staff to build a high-performing, innovative IS organization

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align IS initiatives with business priorities

• Serve as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders

• Represent IS department interests at the executive level

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

• 12+ years of progressive experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

• Proven experience managing enterprise-level information systems, particularly SAP ERP implementations and integrations

• Strong background in project management, IT governance, and enterprise architecture

• Experience with manufacturing systems integration (MES, PLM, Supply Chain) in a production environment

• Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives and business process optimization

• Track record of managing infrastructure operations, cloud migrations, and IT security

• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills

Technical Knowledge

• Deep understanding of ERP systems, particularly SAP architecture and modules

• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, including MES, PLM, and supply chain solutions

• Knowledge of business process management tools and methodologies

• Understanding of database management systems and data integration approaches

• Awareness of cloud technologies, infrastructure management, and network design

• Working knowledge of IT service management principles (ITIL)
