As the IT Infrastructure Lead, our responsibility is to continuously review the latest technologies and applications to provide our customers with a superior service experience and advanced financial technology. With this knowledge, we provide a stable, flexible, and efficient IT infrastructure that can better support all services running on it. Therefore, we are looking for a partner to plan and manage our network architecture and systems, including project support and daily issue resolution. This role will also continuously evaluate the implementation of new technologies, tools, and methods, and work with the team to overcome challenges and grow, ultimately delivering excellent products and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan enterprise-level server architecture, including virtualization platforms and operating systems, to ensure the server architecture complies with the company's technical and security standards.
- Build and maintain server and storage hardware, operating systems, and services to provide a stable and highly available infrastructure.
- Responsible for the monitoring, operation, and management of network-related equipment such as Firewalls, Load Balancers, Switches, and Routers.
- Quickly respond to and resolve network equipment and server failures or outages, conduct root cause analysis, and propose long-term solutions to prevent the problem from reoccurring.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and tools, and provide optimization recommendations and improvement plans to ensure better flexibility, efficiency, and stability.
- Plan and manage infrastructure-related projects, and manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure their compliance with contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in system engineering or network engineering.
- 3 years of project management experience, preferably in IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with network communication equipment, such as Cisco, F5, Fortinet, and PaloAlto products.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience in communication, coordination, and team leadership, and the ability to collaborate with other departments and teams.
- Experience working in the banking or securities industry is a plus
Plus:
- Experience building a Data Center from scratch.
- Familiarity with private/public clouds, such as OpenStack, VMware, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Familiarity with emergency response procedures and an understanding of SLI/SLO/SLA, RTO, and RPO.
